Y'all I published 100,000 words this year!!! It's really hard to believe it. I only started writing fics in March and posted my first one at the end of April. This year has been absolutely shitty in a bunch of different ways, but I'm grateful that I'm writing again and for all the people in fandom and beyond that I've connected with. Hopefully 2026 will bring an end to some of the terrible crap happening in the world right now but if not at least there's still communities like this one.

I still have unrevealed work for the Sense8 Holiday Exchange that I can't talk about quite yet, but for the fic that officially put me over the 100,000 word mark, may I present Nai-robbery.

Nai-robbery
While visiting Capheus on an especially costly trip to Nairobi, Wolfgang reflects on the similarities between their childhood friends.

I hope to eventually write OT3 (Rajalagang) + Felix visiting everyone in the cluster, and I'm now one step closer with Capheus. One of the things I think we really missed out on with the cancellation was seeing more moments between members of the cluster that didn't have a lot of interactions. Wolfgang is one of the worst for that, which is definitely due in part to his character since he basically didn't talk to anyone but Kala until episode 10!!! But I think there was seriously a missed opportunity for him and Capheus to bond over the two of them having basically the same BFF. Felix and Jela would get on like a house on fire and god help anyone's peace and quiet within a hundred feet of them. And since we never got the background story for how Capheus and Jela met, here's a bit of that too. 

Tis the season! My first holiday fic. I drank some eggnog and put Santa hats on my gargoyle and my glass skull, and reindeer antlers on my dog, and got to work on a Christmas fic. The Sense8 holiday exchange is also still happening but I can't talk about it until the reveal on the 31st so stay tuned for more on that soon. Until then, a little Rajalagang Christmas fluff:

This is my 40th!!!! fanfic. I can't believe it. I only started in March.

Anyway...I love the finale of Sense8. It's filled with joy and so much fun to watch, but if you look a little too closely you can see a TON of plotholes and inconsistencies, and I swear Lana Wachowski didn't look at a single map of Paris when writing it which makes squeezing missing scene fics into canon-compliance a little tricky, but alas. I did my best. This is like the tequila squared gay math of Paris geography and that's A-OK.

This is my first gift exchange and I'm soooo excited! Sense8 has been my primary hyperfixation for quite awhile now, and is the reason I started reading and writing fanfiction to begin with. There just isn't enough content to satisfy my obsessive autistic brain and I need MOAR.

As far as likes, I am very much a stickler for canon. Any expansion of things seen in the show, missing scenes, pre-canon events, I'm here for it. Rajalagang + Felix is my favorite (if you couldn't tell from my works on AO3) but I also really enjoy general Cluster fics, especially rare pairs that didn't have much interaction (like Capheus & Wolfgang, Lito & Riley, etc). I read Lito/Hernando/Dani, Nomi/Amanita, Sun/Mun, and basically anything with Capheus since there are so few. Sapien relationships are most welcome as well. 

There's so much to explore in post-canon with all the storylines that didn't quite get wrapped up, so any ideas for those are also appreciated.

I just completed my Fannish 50 in 2025 with this entry!

This fic is based on something that occurs in one of my others (Shakespearean Proportions) but can be read as a standalone. It's super fun and fluffy (in more ways than one) and was submitted jointly for smallfandomfest under the prompt: Gifts as well as for fourormore Bingo 2025 under the prompt: Feral.

There's still time to pimp your small fandoms as well as submit prompts for anyone interested. Continuing my theme of not using especially original titles on new fics (last week's Herr Wingman joining my other Felix Berner POV fics: Herr Sidekick and Herr Sugar Baby), I just posted Meet the Family to go with Meet the Husband and Meet the Wife.

This one was a lot of fun to write once it finally got going, and ended up way longer than anticipated so I now officially have two multi-chapter fics under my belt. It was submitted as part of fourormore 2025 Bingo for the prompt: Awkward conversations

After relocating to Mumbai, the time comes for Wolfgang to meet Kala and Rajan's families. It goes as well as expected.

While watching the finale for the billionth time I was struck during the Nothing Matters When We're Dancing montage by Rajan in the corner of the screen potentially dancing with a mystery person. There's also a brief adorable scene of Felix and Riley dancing and my brain just went from there.

The fairies aren't the only ones to work their magic at Nomi and Amanita's wedding as Felix intervenes in a love triangle that refuses to communicate.

Sense8 was originally meant to be five seasons and I'm still shaking my fist at Netflix for canceling it, but at least we got a wrap up movie and that leaves plenty of options for missing scene fics. In this one, I wanted to explore the developing friendship between Kala and Felix. It takes place during the finale.
