origin of your username: Mary Catherine Blackwood from We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. Merricat as she's known affectionately. 
i always order this food: Usually Pad See Ew with tofu from my local Thai place. I have Celiac so I don't eat out very much because of the risk of cross-contamination but this place is safe for me. 
current overused emoji: Probably crying laughing. I'm a millennial so I use lol a lot.
current favorite show: Sense8
current favorite book: We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. Read that on my living room floor in one sitting and I've never related more to a book in my life.
current favorite video game: Does Candy Crush count? I don't really play video games, and have a love/hate relationship with the one I do lol
song on repeat: Lately it's been Kittens by Underworld
last thing you really got into: Sense8. Also, IWTV and I cannot wait for the upcoming The Vampire Lestat.
oddly specific thing that brings you joy: Small dogs running. Their little legs just lkjasdfl;kadsjlkf
phone wallpaper: Just some art I found on tumblr and really liked
what smell makes you happy: Rain. Despite how much of it we get where I am, it rarely smells like rain. I miss that from when I lived in the desert
morning, night, or other type: Mornings definitely. Get up and get things done. My sleep is not great though. 
what’s your work/profession: I'm in the banking industry. Don't hold it against me.
