The challenge for today was Pets of Fandom and I love this soooo much!

I was just having a conversation with someone about how unusual it was that out of our eight main characters in the Sense8 cluster, only Sun had a pet! Thanks to my own super reactive dog, I was loudly made aware that there is barking in basically every scene at Wolfgang's uncle's house, but otherwise we only get to see Sun and her dog. Contrary to popular fandom lore, the dog breed is Jindo rather than the dog's name. The dog isn't actually named in the show, much to my canon fanfiction writing dismay.

But post-show when everything is settled down and people aren't being chased by nefarious multinational organizations, here are my headcanons for the types of pets people would have:

Wolfgang - Cat. He practically is one. I even wrote about him getting a kitten in The Barbarian.
Will - Golden Retriever. He's wholesome and loyal and I can't imagine any other choice
Kala - A reptile or maybe exotic fish. Something to observe more than interact with
Nomi - Cat. Her and Amanita all cozy at home. Maybe a couple of them
Lito - A little diva of a chihuahua. Has to be
Riley - Stray animals she can nurse back to health. Any variety of cats, dogs, birds, rodents
Capheus - Not sure he has time for a pet, but maybe he'll go the Riley route
